The new Ferrino W.T.S., a system to replace traditional seams, is revolutionising the outdoor industry with products that are truly on the cutting edge. Now, after using the W.T.S. on sleeping bags and tents, Ferrino has gone even further, creating a completely heat-welded backpack.
The W.H.L. 27 marks a turning point in the way backpacks are conceived: no more backpack cover or seams. W.H.L. 27 is in fact a completely waterproof backpack. This result has been achieved by combining the new system, Ferrino W.T.S., with welded zips, which also guarantee total watertightness.
The W.H.L. 27 also stands out for the fact that it is extremely basic. Starting with its reduced volume (27 litres), then its small number of highly efficient gear attachments and lastly, its excellent back, which is stiffened by a polyethylene support panel and reinforced by a removable and shapeable aluminium bar as well as being formed by separate padded sections to improve air circulation and therefore, offer ideal evaporation of body moisture.
The ergonomic carrying system is complete with shoulder straps covered in breathable mesh fabric and padded in perforated foam. The inside of the backpack is also equipped with a gear ring, a mesh pocket with zip and a small red snap-hook, and a pocket for shovel and avalanche probe.
